All I seem to grasp is that people are looking for Mushin's compass, which points to an heir, and that the heir seems to just awaken some stoned bird, but I completely lost track of what the whole purpose of that arc was. Why do we have Blackram? First there's the Blackram in Viridian, then Blackram in Moonwater. Why is Cricket going through the regions anyways? Why is s/he doing these political tasks and what are they about? Why is Cricket opposed to the Talus (what did the Talus do?), why were the Snapjaws and Lycandi all of a sudden working with Cricket when they initially didn't care about her/him? Is there a reason Cricket is uniting forces with different races? But aren't Yura and Jinsoyun friends? Probably explained in the future patch, but still confusing. But Yura and Mushin want Cricket to convert to the dark side to get revenge on Jinsoyun. I'm not quite sure what happened.Īll of a sudden, Yura is depicted as a good person (or bad.), Mushin is bad. When all that's done, s/he goes to Brightstone Village to essentially end some kind of war. The four guardians, however, are getting in their way of spreading Dark Chi, so Jinsoyun tries to get them killed.Ĭricket then is tasked with stopping Jinsoyun, and so s/he is tasked with cleaning her/his dark chi and gathering some power from the legendary animals. They want to spread Dark Chi, just because. Jinsoyun is evil, Yura is evil, and Namsoyoo, who for some reason doesn't do anything important after Bamboo village, is evil. So somehow, she was raised to become bad by the four guardians.įast-forward to the present-day. One of the guardians found (and raised?) Jinsoyun, who for some reason became bad. The four guardians appeared, summoned some legendary beast friends, and fended off the dark invasion. Monsters came from the sky, random things fell down, dark shadow fiends appeared, and Necropolis basically fell. Because the ritual failed, a connection was opened to the Dark Realm instead of some heavenly area. Initially, Yura met with a Prince in Necropolis for some odd reason to screw up the Divine Mandate Ritual.
Here's a rough description of what I think is going on so far but I can't quite be sure (read further at your own risk for either misunderstanding yourself or spoiling): If someone helps me understand better, or just give like a 5 sentence summary of everything (if that's possible), that'd be nice.
I've already finished up to the point where the story ends in our current patch, but I'm still struggling with understanding what the story is about.
